Manal Ahmed Khan is a young Indian classical vocalist rooted in the 800-year-old tradition of the Delhi Gharana. Introduced to Hindustani classical music at the age of four, his foundational training began under his father, Ustad Nihal Ahmed Khan. He later received rigorous taaleem in khayal gayaki from his uncle, the late Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan Sahab, the last Khalifa of the Delhi Gharana, shaping his voice through authenticity, discipline, and lineage-based refinement.
A versatile freelance performer, Manal has presented his art at leading cultural platforms including Dilli Durbar, Jashn-e-Rekhta, Bharat Parv, Utsaah Festival, the Urs of Hazrat Inayat Khan, Sahitya Kala Parishad, and festivals organised by the Ustad Usman Khan Foundation and other prestigious institutions. His journey is further marked by numerous zonal and district-level awards from the Directorate of Education.
Academically trained at the Faculty of Music & Fine Arts, University of Delhi, he continues to pursue advanced studies in Hindustani classical music and Sangeet Shiromani, balancing scholarship with an active and evolving performance career.
