Odissi dancer Sonali Barua, from Delhi, has enchanted audiences nationwide since childhood. Starting her dance journey at six, she trained for nine years at Gandharva Mahavidyalaya under Guru Padma Shri Madhavi Mudgal. Currently refining her skills with Guru Vidushi Kavita Dwibedi at Sanchari Foundation, Sonali masters the styles of Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra and Guru Harekrishna Behra.
Collaborating with luminaries like Dr. Sonal Mansingh and Guru Santosh Nair, she is celebrated for her graceful movements and expressive Abhinaya. Sonali has performed at prestigious platforms including ICCR, Sangeet Natak Akademi, G-20, and Ministry of Culture events. Diversifying her artistic pursuits, she is completing a Master's in Performing Arts with a Dance specialization at the World University of Design. Sonali Barua exemplifies artistic excellence as both performer and choreographer, significantly impacting school dance performances and the broader dance community.
