Sonali Barua, a celebrated Odissi dancer from Delhi, has earned acclaim for her enchanting performances across India since childhood.
Initiating her dance journey at age 6, she underwent nine years of Odissi training at Gandharva Mahavidyalaya under Guru Padma Shri Madhavi Mudgal. Currently refining her skills with Guru Vidushi Kavita Dwibedi Ji at Sanchari Foundation, Sonali specializes in the styles of Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra and Guru Harekrishna Behra. Collaborating with esteemed Gurus like Dr. Sonal Mansingh and Guru Santosh Nair, Sonali's signature style features graceful movements and elegant Abhinaya.
Her performances have graced prestigious platforms such as ICCR, Sangeet Natak Akademi, G-20, and Ministry of Culture collaborations. Beyond Odissi, she has diversified her artistic repertoire, pursuing a Masters in Performing Arts with a Dance specialization at the World University of Design.
