A Kathak practitioner, performer, art model, and visual storyteller, Shantanu Gosavi brings to his work a distinctive blend of depth, elegance, stillness, and emotional charge. His artistic presence feels introspective yet magnetic, graceful yet intense, soft-spoken yet visually commanding.
Currently training and working with the Sanjukta Sinha Dance Company under Guru Sanjukta Sinha, Shantanu’s practice moves between classical discipline and contemporary imagination. Through movement, gaze, posture, and silence, he shapes performance into an intimate language of memory and transformation.
Across dance, photography, modelling, and short films, he explores the body as a vessel of expression and becoming. His collaborations with photographers, artists, filmmakers, and creative professionals have appeared in national and international publications, extending his visual and performative identity beyond the stage.
For Shantanu, art is a private journey made visible, a search for meaning through movement, gaze, silence, and becoming.
