Bobby Cash, the illustrious “Indian Cowboy,” galloped from New Delhi’s Rodeo to conquer international country music charts in Australia, sparking a wildfire of admiration and leaving an everlasting imprint on the world’s melodic frontier.

Bobby Cash, born on February 13, 1961, is a pioneering figure in Indian country music, celebrated as the nation's inaugural international artist with chart-topping hits in Australia. Based in Clement Town, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Cash has garnered acclaim for his unique style, earning the title "The Indian Cowboy, one in a billion." His musical odyssey commenced at New Delhi's esteemed venue, Rodeo, where he briefly explored Indian pop before returning to his country roots.

A transformative moment occurred when Australian film producer Colin Bromley was captivated by Cash's talent, resulting in an invitation to the prestigious Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2003. This marked a watershed moment, thrusting Cash into the limelight and inspiring Bromley's documentary, "The Indian Cowboy...One in a Billion."Recording his debut album, "Cowboy at Heart," in Australia, Cash collaborated with industry veterans. His subsequent albums, "Phoenix to El Paso" and "State of My Heart," achieved Top Ten status on the Australian country music charts.

Acknowledged by the Country Music Association in Nashville, Cash received a nomination for the Global Artist of the Year Award in 2005, cementing India's position on the global country music stage. While the award eluded him, his unforgettable performance garnered a standing ovation.Upon returning to India, Cash embarked on extensive tours, championing and performing country music. In August 2014, his single "Ashiyaan" was released by Songdew.
