Vinod Kevin Bachan, a prominent presence in Odissi dance, is a devoted disciple of the illustrious Guru Padmashree and SNA Awardee Ranjana Gauhar. His artistic journey began at Nrityanjali Theatre in Trinidad and Tobago and was further refined in Odisha, mastering the Deba Prasad Das style. Under Guru Ranjana Gauhar's mentorship, Vinod has graced stages in India and around the world, earning prestigious accolades, including the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puruskar from the Sangeet Natak Akademi in 2021. His performances have captivated audiences in the UK, Malaysia, Brazil, Grenada, and Barbados.
Vinod is a scholarship recipient from the Ministry of External Affairs - ICCR and an empanelled artist of ICCR, Doordarshan, and the All India Dancers Association. As a certified yoga instructor and wellness coach, he artfully blends yoga with dance. Vinod is passionately committed to preserving and enriching the legacy of his Guru and the legendary Guru Mayadhar Raut.
