Srimalli Aiyamperumal is a Bharatanatyam artist trained within a strong tradition of classical dance and disciplined performance practice. She began her artistic journey at Isha Samskriti, an alternative education system founded by Sadhguru, where she developed a deep grounding in movement, rhythm, and embodied learning. Srimalli continues her advanced training under acclaimed dancer and choreographer Smt. Divya Nayar, Director of Dakshina, Chennai, and performs as a member of the Dakshina repertory.
She has presented her work at numerous respected platforms in India and abroad, including the Sangeet Natak Akademy, Isha Yoga Center, Chidambaram Nataraj Temple, and festivals across Chennai, Bengaluru, Udupi, and the Middle East. Her repertoire includes solo and ensemble productions such as Shringaralahari, Salilam, Drisya Adrishya, and Prithan.
Alongside performing, Srimalli actively engages in teaching, workshops, and collaborative initiatives, reflecting a sustained commitment to lineage, rigor, and contemporary relevance within the Bharatanatyam tradition in present-day performance contexts nationally.
