What followed was not an overnight discovery but years of riyaaz, learning, and an ever-deepening relationship with Hindustani music. Trained under respected gurus, including Pt. Bholanath Mishra of the Banaras Gharana, Shivani has developed a musical sensibility that moves naturally through Khayal, Thumri, Dadra, Ghazal, and Sufi music.
Her journey has taken her to concerts and cultural platforms across India and abroad, while her curiosity has kept her equally engaged with the academic side of her art. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Delhi.
Perhaps what defines Shivani best is not a list of performances or honours, but the quiet evolution of an artist who has stayed close to what she loves, allowing years of practice, experience, and exploration to gradually shape an expression that feels distinctly her own.
