Saqib Khan: A Sonic Voyager, Unveiling the Soul of Kairana Gharana

Born in 1999 from Delhi's Kairana Gharana, Saqib Khan is a formidable Sitar and Vocal artist, recognized by the Ministry of Culture, holding degrees from Delhi University and Prayag Sangit Samiti, and advancing his musical journey under family guidance.

Mohd Saqib Khan, born in 1999 in Delhi, is a dedicated artist from the esteemed Kairana Gharana.

Grandson of Ustad Jeemu Khan Saheb, Saqib specializes in Sitar and Vocal, influenced by his rich musical heritage. Initiated into music at 5, he trained under Ustad Intizar Ahmed, Ustad Akhtar Nawaz Khansahab, and Padma Shri Ustad Shahid Parvez Khansahab. An active participant in concerts and solo vocal recitals, Saqib’s unique style blends the sharp speed of “Taan” with precise musical execution. Recognized by the Ministry of Culture, he holds a Delhi University degree and a 6-year Visharad from Prayag Sangit Samiti.

Continuing his musical journey under the guidance of his father and grandfather, Saqib anticipates a bright future in the world of music.
