Ruchi Gupta | Bharatanatyam’s Graceful Advocate
Ruchi Gupta, taught by Guru Smt. Sujata Dinesh and late Guru Dr. Saroja Vaidyanathan, is a notable Bharatanatyam artist who cultivates talent and promotes India’s cultural heritage through Kirti Natya Niketan.

Ruchi Gupta is a respected Bharatanatyam artist who has performed extensively across India and internationally. A graded Doordarshan artist and an empanelled talent at CCRT, New Delhi, she began her training at the age of four under Guru Smt. Sujata Dinesh in the Pandanallur Bani. She later advanced under the late Guru Padmabhushan Dr. Saroja Vaidyanathan in the Thanjavur Bani, completing her Arangetram within a year.

Academically accomplished, Ruchi holds a degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi, along with formal qualifications in Bharatanatyam and Carnatic Music from Indira Kala Sangit Vishwavidyalaya. She also trained in Mridangam under Guru K. N. Padmanaban, strengthening her rhythmic foundation and musical sensitivity.

Through her institute, Kirti Natya Niketan, she nurtures young talent and actively promotes India’s cultural heritage. Her accolades include the Kalashree Award from Ganesa Natyalaya and the Outstanding Bharatanatyam Artist Award by Routes 2 Roots. Notable solo recitals at the Lotus Temple, the Commonwealth Games Baton Relay Ceremony, and major cultural festivals reflect her sustained dedication to advancing the art of Bharatanatyam.
