Sri Pritam Das is a respected Bharatanatyam artist known for his profound mastery and significant contributions to the art form's cultural heritage.
Sri Pritam Das, an eminent classical dancer, began his Bharatanatyam journey at the tender age of four. Under the esteemed guidance of Smt. Jayita Ghosh, Sri Samrat Dutta, and the revered Smt. Rama Vaidyanathan, he achieved mastery in Bharatanatyam and Odissi, and delved into Natyashastra with Kalamandalam Piyal. He further refined his Carnatic vocal skills at Guruguha Gana Vidyalaya.
Pritam possesses dual Master’s degrees: one in Accounts and Finance from the University of Calcutta, and another in Bharatanatyam from Rabindra Bharati University. He has earned the prestigious title of 'Nritya Visharad' (Gold Medallist) from Pracheen Kala Kendra and SSOSP, along with accolades such as the Senior National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and the coveted 'A' Grade Artiste designation from Prasar Bharati.
Among his numerous awards are the Sanjukta Panigrahi Smriti Award and Yuva Gandharva Purashkar. As an empanelled artist with SPICMACAY, Pritam fervently shares his expertise in Bharatanatyam through workshops and performances, significantly enriching the cultural heritage.
