Makrand Sanon, a visionary musician, fuses Indian Classical and Electronic Music, crafting groundbreaking soundscapes and excelling as a live Audio Engineer.

Makrand Sanon is a distinguished musician with nearly two decades of expertise, beginning his musical odyssey at age five. Mastering the tabla, drums, and djembe, he refined his talents in Indian Classical music at Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, and delved into Electronic Music at K.M. Music Conservatory under A.R. Rahman. Currently, he explores the intricacies of Pakhawaj under Pandit Mohan Shyam Sharma. Makrand's collaborations span diverse genres, enhancing his artistic depth.

As a freelancer, he performs with groups like Angad Katari, Azaan and Makrand, and “Tall-Tales”. He is an integral part of the SHK Collective, led by Ustaad Shujaat Hussain Khan, and the Aahvaan Project, which focuses on acoustic experimental storytelling. Additionally, he excels as a live Audio Engineer. His ventures into theatre, film scores, and sound art reflect his enduring passion for creating a "sound garden," blending melodies that resonate with the world's natural rhythms.
