Kalashree Vinay Tiwari: Bringing Ancient Dance into the Modern Era

"Kalashree" Vinay Tiwari, a celebrated Bharatanatyam artist and Doordarshan graded performer, trained under Padma Bhushan Dr. Saroja Vaidyanathan and Vidushi Rama Vaidyanathan. He commenced his journey at Bhatkhande Music University, Lucknow, earning diplomas in Bharatanatyam and Indian Folk Dance. Vinay pursued advanced training at Ganesa Natyalaya Classical Art Center, New Delhi, under the guru-shishya parampara. He is also trained in "Karana" under Padma Vibhushan Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam. 

Vinay's accolades include the Nalanda Nritya Nipuna Award and Sant Tulsi Samman Award. He holds a world record for "Shivaargya," the largest all-male classical dance relay. His work includes significant performances at Khajuraho Dance Festival, Namamey Gange, and Taj Mahotsav.

An esteemed teacher at Ganesa Natyalaya and a certified Yoga instructor, Vinay blends tradition with contemporary techniques, imparting his art to numerous students and promoting Bharatanatyam nationwide.
