Rohit Pawar, an exuberant and agile Kathak dancer, has intricately mastered this classical art under the mentorship of Smt. Vaswati Misra and Rahul Pawar. Starting his journey early, he achieved the ‘Visarat’ from Pt. Shambhu Maharaj Kathak Academy, Delhi. With a remarkable career of over 15 years, Rohit has graced numerous national and international stages with his solo performances. Currently a repertory artist at Kathak Kendra, Delhi, he views dance as a sacred calling, dedicated to preserving the essence of Kathak. His performances have been featured in prestigious events such as the Kathak Mahotsav, Amar Kala Mahotsav, and Jaipur Ratan Samaroh.
Rohit’s devotion to dance transcends mere performance, striving to uphold and celebrate the rich legacy of Kathak. His honors include the Jaipur Ratan Award and recognition in Indian Talent Magazine.
