Padmashree and SNA Awardee Smt. Ranjana Gauhar is an acclaimed Odissi dancer and Artistic Director of Utsav’s repertory, with significant leadership in Indian cultural arts.

Padmashree and SNA Awardee Smt. Ranjana Gauhar is a globally renowned Odissi dancer known for her exceptional artistry. Trained under Guru Mayadhur Raut, she has performed at prestigious venues including the Queen Elizabeth Royal Festival Hall and the Cervantino Festival. Her international engagements span the UK, Italy, France, Japan, and beyond. Additionally, she is proficient in Chhau, Kathak, and Manipuri, contributing significantly to theatre, film, choreography, and dance education. 

As the Artistic Director of Utsav’s repertory, Ranjana Gauhar has produced acclaimed works such as 'Chitrangada' and 'Thridhara.' She is the Founder-President of 'Utsav – Educational & Cultural Society,' which promotes Indian art through major festivals, workshops, and seminars. Her roles in national cultural bodies, including the Ministry of Culture and Kalakshetra Foundation, highlight her leadership. Awarded the Padmashree in 2003 and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2007, Ranjana Gauhar remains a prominent figure in the arts community.
