Pandit Shri Rajendra Gangani, a revered master of the Jaipur Gharana, commenced his Kathak journey at age four under the guidance of his father, Pt. Kundanlal Gangani. A distinguished graduate of Kathak Kendra, Delhi, he seamlessly merges the richness of tradition with contemporary elegance. Shri Rajendra's performances, renowned for their intricate Kathak bols, captivate audiences worldwide. His acclaimed choreographies, such as Leele-Varnan and Maharaas, exemplify his creative brilliance.

A gifted musician, he masterfully plays the tabla, harmonium, and pakhawaj, enriching his compositions. Fondly known as Guruji, Shri Rajendra’s works harmoniously blend artistic excellence, profound poetry, and soulful music. His invaluable contributions to Kathak have been recognized with numerous honors, including the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2003, presented by President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Shri Rajendra has created notable thematic pieces like Raag Vistaar, Tribandhi, Sargam, Zhalak, Srijan, and Parikrama, each a testament to his unwavering dedication to the art form.
