R.M. Naeem, an artist of profound influence and reverence from Pakistan, has redefined the global art landscape over 27 years through his visionary exhibitions, curations, and distinguished honors.
R.M. Naeem, born in 1968 in Mirpurkhas, Pakistan, is an exalted artist and educator. A graduate with distinction from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore, in 1993, he has been a pivotal faculty member there since 1994 and was awarded an Associateship in 2019. His illustrious career spans over 27 years, featuring 20 solo exhibitions and participation in prestigious international art events, including the Asian Art Biennale, the International Artists' Biennale, and the Karachi Biennale.
Naeem has curated numerous exhibitions, attended 17 international art residencies, and founded STUDIO RM, initiating an international residency program in 2008. His contributions have been recognized with accolades including the President’s Award for the Pride of Performance 2023, the National Award 2003, and Provincial Awards in 1991 and 1992. His work is featured in prominent collections and publications worldwide. Naeem lives and works in Lahore, Pakistan.
