Born and raised in Rishikesh within a family rooted in business, Gaurav Dhodi’s journey into music began without any inherited artistic tradition. His early education took place in his hometown, followed by an MBA specializing in Port and Shipping Management. Yet, beneath the surface of a conventional path, music remained a persistent calling, leading him to pursue a junior diploma in classical vocals from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.
Around 2013, he made a decisive shift, stepping away from a structured career trajectory to devote himself entirely to music. His professional journey included a significant tenure of seven years at Aloha On The Ganges, Rishikesh, followed by his association with Divine Resort, where his performances became an integral part of the experiential landscape.
Today, Gaurav’s voice continues to travel beyond Rishikesh through corporate and private performances across India, while his evenings find their own river-lit rhythm at Raga on the Ganges. His journey reflects not just a personal leap of faith, but a quiet assertion that artistry can emerge, even where it was never expected to begin.
