Chhaya Dubey: The Unspoken Language of Nature in Abstract Form

Chhaya Dubey, an artist from Bhopal, crafts raw, textured abstractions that flow from her deep, personal connection to nature and music, creating art that speaks with quiet intensity.

Chhaya Dubey, an artist from Bhopal, finds her voice in the colors and forms of nature. Her abstract work is raw, textured, and deeply personal, shaped by her surroundings and her love for music. With a Ph.D. in Drawing and Painting and a background in textile design, she explores various mediums, always searching for new ways to express her world. Her art has earned recognition, including the M.P. State Visual Art Award, with solo exhibitions at Triveni Kala Sangam in Delhi and Bharat Bhavan in Bhopal. She has also participated in national and international group exhibitions, including Jehangir Art Gallery.

Whether working at Bharat Bhavan’s Graphic Studio or in her personal space, Chhaya’s process is intuitive and grounded, driven by curiosity rather than convention. Her work invites viewers into her world slowly, offering glimpses of nature’s depth—layered, complex, and full of life.
