Arnab AJ Halder: The Graceful Synergy of Neo-Classical and Kathakali Dance

Arnab AJ Halder, a dedicated Kathakali and Contemporary dancer, has graced prestigious festivals across India, reflecting his deep passion and refined skills.

Arnab AJ Halder's journey in dance began nine years ago, shaped under the guidance of Shri Subhajit Khush Das in Bharatnatyam, Neo-classical, and Contemporary styles. He remains a key member of his group, Subhangik. He later refined his Kathakali skills under the mentorship of Kalamandalam Venkitt and Prolay Sarkar. Holding a B.A. and M.A. in dance from Rabindra Bharati University, Arnab is a celebrated performer with Mudralap Art Academy, guided by Prolay Sarkar.

He has graced prestigious festivals like the Indradhanush Dance Festival (Delhi, 2017), Dance Bridges Festival (Kolkata, 2019), NCPA Mudra Dance Festival (Mumbai, 2022), and National Classical Theatre Festival BIBHANGA (2023). Arnab has also shared his insights on "Rasas of well-being" in many Varanasi schools as part of CBSE art integration (SPIC MACAY). He now imparts his expertise as a dance teacher at Birla High School Moira Street, Kolkata.
