Arkodeep Das, a vibrant percussionist rooted in the rich tradition of the Banaras Gharana, was born on December 22, 1998. Embarking on his musical odyssey at the age of four in Purnia, Bihar, under the mentorship of Shri Satya Priya Dutta and Shri Birendra Ghosh, he discovered his passion for tabla.
Fueled by a thirst for knowledge, he honed his skills at the Gurukul of tabla maestro Pt. Kumar Bose in Kolkata, diving deep into the rhythms of the Banaras Gharana. Graduating with flying colors in Fine Arts with a focus on Instrumental Music (Percussion) from Rabindra Bharati University, he earned acclaim, clinching the esteemed "Nirod Boron Memorial Prize."
A dynamic performer, he has captivated audiences worldwide, from prestigious classical music conferences to vibrant youth festivals.
