Born in Panipat, Haryana, Ankur is a musician, keyboardist, pianist, singer, music producer, and mixing and mastering engineer with more than twelve years of experience in live performance. He established himself as a freelance musician in Delhi’s music scene, performing across India with a repertoire that moves comfortably between jazz, Bollywood fusion, classical music, and traditional ghazals.
Alongside his years on stage, Ankur has built a strong technical foundation in sound and studio production. He holds a diploma in Sound Engineering from Delhi University and an advanced diploma in Music Production, Mixing and Mastering from the School of Bollywood Music, Mumbai.
Now based in Mumbai, he works across live music, recording, and production. His experience on both sides of the process, the immediacy of performance and the meticulous craft of the studio, continues to shape his musical approach as he explores new sounds and develops his voice as a musician, singer, and producer.
