Meet Sonali Loomba, a former corporate professional who gracefully traded her business attire for the rhythmic elegance of Kathak dance right here in Utah. Her Kathak journey began in 2006, but it truly blossomed when she made her way to the scenic landscapes of Utah in 2017. Fueled by a desire to preserve this ancient art form, Sonali founded the Kaladharaa Dance School, where she nurtures and shares the essence of Kathak with her community. Sonali's remarkable talent has graced stages across the globe, earning her a coveted spot at TEDx Salt Lake City, glowing recognition in renowned publications, and appearances on TV stations that celebrate her artistry. But her creative journey doesn't stop at dance—she explores the melodies of Hindustani classical singing, harmonium tunes, weaves poetry in her spare moments, and thrives on collaborative artistic adventures.
