Sanjeev Jha, an eminent Dhrupad artist hailing from Bihar, specializes in the "Dagarvaani" style, creating a distinctive mark in classical music. Trained by Padmashri Umakant and Ramakant Gundecha, since 2014, he, along with Manish Kumar, forms the dynamic duo, Dhrupad Bandhu. Rooted in rigorous training, they actively perform and teach, significantly influencing the trajectory of Dhrupad. Mentored by Ustad Habeeb Khan and Pandit Arun Bhaduri, Sanjeev holds a Bachelor's in Music from Banaras Hindu University and a Master's from Delhi University. As the inaugural male Dhrupad singer trained at the Dhrupad Sansthan since 2007, he has gained international acclaim, participating in a Five-country Dhrupad tour. Serving as a Dhrupad faculty member at Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra, a visiting Professor at Ashoka University, and co-founder of Naadyatra Foundation, Sanjeev's impact extends globally.
