Weaving together the mesmerizing threads of Lucknow, Jaipur, and Benaras Gharanas, Richa's dance style is a harmonious blend enriched by her vocal talents explored under the guidance of Shri Ajit Kumar Mishra and Guru Pt. A. Maheshwar Rao of the Gwalior Gharana. This unique fusion breathes life into the ancient "Katha Vachan Parampara" of Kathak. Beyond her A-grade performances on Doordarshan, Richa is an empaneled artist of ICCR, Ministry of External Affairs, and a recognized figure in the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Her dance has graced global stages, earning titles like 'Shringar Mani' and the prestigious Late Kathak Samrat Pt. Chabinath Misra Kathak Samman. Honored by organizations like the Delhi Canada Association and DLF, Richa passionately preserves classical dance, educating and inspiring young talents. With a commerce degree from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University, and a postgraduate degree in commerce and Kathak Dance from Khairagarh University, Chhattisgarh, she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Dance.
