Rashmi Uppal, trained in Kathak, studied under the guidance of Smt. Bharti Gupta and completed her Post Graduate Diploma and Fellowship at Kathak Kendra, New Delhi. She also received training from the renowned Kathak exponent Ms. Aditi Mangaldas. Rashmi is a senior member of the repertory of Kathak Kendra and The Drishtikon Dance Foundation - Aditi Mangaldas Dance Company. She earned the title of Shringmani from Kal ke Kalakar and has conducted workshops in Delhi, including those at the NIE by the Times of India and the Kahani Festival organized by Teamwork Arts, as well as for Spic Macay. She is a versatile and powerful performer, recognized as an empanelled artist of ICCR and a graded artist of Delhi Doordarshan. Rashmi has showcased her talents as a soloist and in group productions both in India and internationally.
