Music is the essence of my existence. Sangeet and Ghazal are often referred to as synonymous with life itself.
Growing up, I was immersed in a musical environment, with a special emphasis on Ghazals, thanks to my father, who was a disciple of the esteemed Aftaab Faiyaz Khan Saab of the Agra Gharana. He later delved into the realm of Ghazals under the guidance of Jaidev ji and my Guru, Ustani Madhurani ji.

Penaz Masani is a ghazal singer from India who has more than 20 albums to her credit. She was also known as 'Shehzadi Tarannum' and was felicitated with the Padma Shri in 2009. Penaz has also done playback singing for leading music directors like Jaidev, R D Burman, Usha Khanna, Nadeem Shravan, Raaj Kamal, Anu Malik, Rajesh Roshan etc.
