My fundamental belief is in being a good human being. Just as we receive guidance from our mentors, we should also seek to learn from our life experiences. Additionally, practicing "adab," which entails politeness and respect, holds great significance. Whether one is an artist or anyone else, possessing good culture leads to a superior life. It bestows a unique grace upon individuals in their work, talents, and music when they genuinely uphold good manners, without pretense. There's a verse that my father used to recite, "अदब पहला करीना है शाहों के आस्ताने का। इससे दुनिया मुरीद होती है" which translates to "Adab is the first beloved of the royalty. With this, the world becomes a student." Therefore, my philosophy is to respect both our elders and those younger than us, fostering a culture of politeness and respect, encouraging the younger generation to follow suit and honor their elders and those even younger than them.
