Abhipsa Pradhan, born in 1979, is a distinguished artist celebrated for her contributions to painting, sculpture, and installation art. Holding both a BFA and MFA, her two-decade artistic journey includes over thirty exhibitions, showcasing a commitment to the craft through diverse workshops and camps. Abhipsa’s artistry is characterized by constant innovation, experimentation with styles, techniques, and mediums, making her a continually evolving contemporary Indian artist. Her work transcends geographical and temporal boundaries , drawing inspiration from diverse themes and cultures. Recipient of prestigious awards, including the AIFACS and Prafulla Dhankar awards in 2022, and the Tribal award from the Government of India, she is also a Junior Fellowship recipient from the CCRT. Notable among recent exhibitions is the solo show ‘Through The Artist’s Eyes’ at DLF Magnolias in 2022, curated by Apparao Gallery, highlighting her significant impact.
