His words, "Engage in something with wholehearted dedication, effort, and grace, or abstain from it. Disregarding it with indifference is not an option," resonate in my ethos. This principle guides me, urging me to pursue my craft passionately, akin to nurturing a child, molding it to inspire both the youth and my nation. My father's belief in my art, his persistent encouragement to step out of my comfort zone, has been instrumental in building my character. Trained in the Jaipur Gharana and under Vidushi Saswati Sen, she refined her skills at Kalashram with Pt. Birju Maharaj. Since 2008, Moumita showcased her talents in solo performances, earning titles like Vishesh Radha. She graced stages across India, participating in festivals such as Khajuraho Dance Festival and Lalit Parv. During the pandemic, she supported artists through online performances. A 2023 CCRT Scholarship recipient, Moumita balances academic excellence with Kalashram training. With a vision to promote India’s cultural heritage, she collaborates with renowned dance companies and earns recognition for her musical prowess.
