Acknowledged as a Ghazal prodigy, he garnered acclaim for early compositions and contributed to film music in works like “With Love Tumhara” and “Chauser.” Trained under the legendary Begum Akhtar gharana by Smt Shanti Hiranand ji, Sudeep’s 25-year musical journey encompasses over 100 albums, showcasing versatility with voices like Asha Bhosle and Jagjit Singh. The sole Indian singer with consecutive annual Ghazal album releases, he achieved the Best Ghazal Album at the IIMA Awards for “Noor” in 2022. With a global impact through concert tours, including London, and a prominent role in the Mumbai Music Industry, Sudeep Banerji continues to shape the Indian music landscape. With over ten Ghazal albums as a singer and approximately 125 albums as a Music Director, he remains a significant figure in the industry.
