I aim to maintain a constant state of calmness, whether facing challenges or experiencing joy. In difficult times, I strive not to become overly tense but instead find balance and composure to move forward. Similarly, during moments of happiness, I aim to avoid excessive excitement and remain grounded. Life presents both ups and downs, but the ability to work with a sense of calmness at all times is truly valuable.
Subhajit Karmakar, the virtuoso of classical vocals, originates from Asansol, West Bengal, igniting his musical odyssey at the tender age of 9. His relentless quest for musical excellence led him to Prayag Sangeet Samiti in Allahabad, where he earned the esteemed title of Sangeet Visarad. His harmonious voyage continued with a Master's degree in music from Rabindra Bharati University. In the early chapters, Subrata Mitra's melodies and rhythms served as his inspiration, but it was under the illustrious Falguni Banerjee that he immersed himself in the rich tapestry of Bengali musical traditions.
