My life philosophy is rooted in simple living and high thinking, valuing basic human values over materialism. Helping others, personal growth, and honing my skills are my sources of joy. Music, particularly playing the divine mridang, runs in my blood and defines my existence. I live for these musical moments, making my life's journal a harmonious melody. Being born into a musical family, I cherish the opportunity to carry forward this legacy and share our rich cultural heritage.
Shubhashish Pathak's musical journey began in the culturally vibrant Mithila region, guided by his renowned father, Mridangacharya Pandit Ramashish Pathak, a celebrated Pakhawaj maestro. Immersed in this rich cultural milieu, Shubhashish mastered both the Pakhawaj and Tabla from a young age, emerging as a musical maestro. Acknowledged as a B High Grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan, Shubhashish made significant contributions to India's classical music landscape. He now imparts his musical wisdom at the Government College for Girls in Gurugram, Haryana. Beyond India, he served as India's cultural ambassador for percussion instruments in Mauritius, leaving a lasting legacy at IGCIC. He received prestigious awards, including the 'Young Artist Scholarship Award' from the Government of India and a senior scholarship from the Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi. Shubhashish Pathak's musical journey is a magnificent symphony, enriching India's cultural heritage and inspiring generations with his dedication to classical music and percussion instruments.
