An individual must persevere diligently in life, for it is through hard work that one reaps future rewards. In addition to dedication and training, maintaining respect and humility is vital. To conquer the world, these three attributes prove invaluable. Moreover, the trio of Effort, Reputation, and Worth significantly influence our life's journey. By wholeheartedly committing to our endeavors, excellence becomes attainable, leading to acknowledgment. Once recognition is earned, our true worth is naturally realized. Thus, my life's ethos centers on unwavering diligence, gaining acknowledgment, and rightfully receiving appreciation.
Born in Delhi, 1999, Saqib Khan carries the legacy of Kairana Gharana's musical lineage, from Ustad Abdul Karim Khansahab to "Pt. Bhimsen Joshi." Despite a tabla legacy, Saqib, grandson of Ustad Jeemu Khansahab, chose Sitar and Vocal from his maternal Kairana Gharana roots. Starting at 5, mentored by his father Ustad Intizar Ahmed and maternal grandfather Ustad Akhtar Nawaz Khansahab, Saqib continued under Sitar Maestro Padma Shri Ustad Shahid Parvez Khansahab of Etawah Gharana. His musical curiosity led him to concerts and solo vocal recitals, polished by Ministry of Culture & Sahitya Kala Parishad. His style fuses "Taan" speed with musical execution. A Delhi University alumnus with 8th year Sangeet Praveen from Prayag Sangit Samiti, Saqib shapes his future with paternal and maternal guidance.
