Milton Andersen, a musician and visionary artist, embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of five. From those early days of recording nursery rhymes with his brother, music has been his unwavering passion. His musical odyssey began with piano lessons from his mother at six, establishing the piano as his primary instrument. Writing music became an early fascination, with his first composition, "light light," penned at the age of seven. Music creation soon became the focal point of his life. At the age of ten, he delved into formal musical training at a local school specializing in choral music, a foundation that significantly influenced his ability to arrange vocal symphonies for his compositions. His instrumental repertoire expanded to include guitar, electric and upright bass, acoustic drums, hand drums, flutes (including bansuri), synthesizers, and a myriad of traditional instruments from around the world. Milton holds dear the belief that while the choice of instrument matters to the inexperienced, it is the emotion expressed through music that holds significance for the intuitive artist. Milton's educational journey led him to Rytmus, a musical high school where he eventually parted ways due to its profit-driven approach, a departure that redirected him toward the spiritual and free-minded realm of Indian Classical music. Under the tutelage of his guruji Shree KG Westman, a disciple of Pandit Rabindra Goswami, he found solace in Raags, immersing himself in their intricate beauty. His artistic portfolio boasts over ten albums, participation in diverse musical ensembles (currently with "Milton and the Shenanigans"), and the initiation of classical concerts. Furthermore, his music has garnered a global audience, available on various streaming platforms. Milton's journey, colored by musical exploration and cultural immersion, continues to captivate hearts and souls alike.
