Artist’s Reflection
Being in nature and in the presence of animals is not a choice for me, it is a need and a source of inspiration. I grew up close to the earth, and as a child I loved helping a farmer, caring for cows, pigs, goats, cats, horses, dogs, and foals. Those early experiences shaped my understanding of life as something shared, fragile, and deeply interconnected. We all depend on a healthy earth to survive. For me, protecting, caring for, and truly appreciating nature and animals is not separate from my art. It is part of how I live, move, and exist in the world.
