Anukriti Vishwakarma is a renowned figure in Indian Classical Dance, harmonizing tradition with modernity. Trained in the prestigious Lucknow Gharana style by Pandit Jai Kishan Maharaj at Kathak Kendra, she pursued post-graduation under the guidance of Shrimati Asha Sharma at Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya. Her artistry was further enriched through mentorship by luminaries like Pandit Birju Maharaj, Kumudini Lakhiya, and Aditi Mangaldas. Anukriti is a recipient of scholarships from the Ministry of Culture and a graded artist on Delhi Doordarshan, extending her reach to a broader audience. She serves as an empanelled artist with SPIC MACAY, inspiring students and enthusiasts alike. Anukriti's academic pursuits continue as a PhD scholar at the World University of Design. She founded Punaraakriti Performing Arts in Dwarka, Delhi, fusing classical art with contemporary elements. Her global performances and integral role at Shri Ram Bhartiya Kala Kendra reflect her unwavering commitment to Indian Classical Dance, blending the ageless traditions with a modern perspective.
